online master of science in analytics georgia tech review
Online master of science in analytics georgia tech review: I am joining forces with my dear colleague and friend, John Lee, to discuss our experiences over the Course of a year into two different master’s programs online in the field of data science/analytics.
This article is broken down into three sections: 1)) give a brief description about ourselves,) outline two programs in two minutes and three) provide ten questions regarding what we know regarding our program.
The two of us started school simultaneously in the fall of 2019. John was enrolled in the University of California, Berkeley Master in Data Science (MIDS) program, while I was enrolled in the Georgia Tech Online Master of Science in Analytics (OMSA) program.
We think that “1 year in the program” is equivalent to two semesters (Fall and Spring). Even though MIDS technically has three semesters each year. The summer classes are mandatory for MIDS. However, they are not required for OMSA.
You can take up to 6 years to finish the program. You can attend up to two classes each period (contact for more information if you wish to enroll in more than three classes). I have found that one each semester class is appropriate for my balance between work and life. If you wish to withdraw for a single period (Fall or spring), it is necessary to contact the program.
Preparation before joining the Course: I took UCSD edX Python for Data Science and paid $350 for a verification Certificate. I also worked on some work as a side project. The class plus the projects took between 80 and 100 hours.
