The class will cover topics like random variate generation, fish processes, and the design of simulation experiments for ARENA. Although it can be challenging to make in-person connections or create lasting relationships through an online service, the most valuable aspect of this journey has been online communities. The OMSA program manages a Slack community, which includes special channels for every class, job announcements by students, and many more. Every day, you’ll see exciting articles from thousands of students and teachers from all over the globe. I put up a poll in the Slack channel to determine the subjects that everyone was most interested in before launching the program. It was interesting to note that the pool was highly diverse. The majority of students who enrolled had intense experiences in Math, Engineering, or Business Economics. The wide range of experience and knowledge creates a fantastic conversation and filtering of ideas of links, notes, and links regarding data analytics. It’s more effective overall Google search!
