Georgia tech data science masters: One of the benefits of choosing Georgia Tech’s college was the minimum requirements to be admitted. They didn’t require a GRE and a GMAT score which helped save many hours in applying. The lack of prerequisites is both positive and negative. One of my main concerns about this course is the massive divergence from the entry requirements to expectations for the classes. The admission requirements say that you require at the very least one college-level system or similar knowledge of “Computer programming in Python at the level of Introduction to Computing in Python.” My experience in computer programming includes various undergraduate classes, a two-week boot camp during the General Assembly, and some work experience. However, I was unable to master two of the mandatory courses within the course.

Stress. Anger. Frustration. Like any of my roommates at the time would be able to tell I was constantly in chaos during my first semester with this class. Introduction to Computing for Data Analytics brought me back to my college experience. It was like how we outlined Calculus I and II to STEM students at the University of Maryland.
