pharmacy tech license
Pharmacy tech license: Pharmacy technicians are under the direct supervision of a pharmacist licensed. They carry out pharmacy-related duties following regulations. Every pharmacy technician working in Massachusetts must be registered in the Massachusetts state.
Anyone who plans to become a pharmacy technician working in Mississippi must get a Mississippi Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician Registration. To apply, applicants need to satisfy the criteria minimum age of 18 years old or possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and fill out their pharmacy Technician Register Application.
For pharmacy technicians to renew their certification, they must be nationally accredited by one of the organizations listed below: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA ExCPT).
This PTCB CPhT Certification is the technician credential that pharmacists are confident in. With the CPhT credential, technicians show their expertise and commitment to safe medication and effective patient care in various pharmacies. Employers are more likely to prefer, and some prefer the pharmacy technician to have PTCB CPhTs.
The PTCE is an electronic exam featuring 90 multiple-choice questions (80 marked questions and ten not scored questions). Questions that are not scored are randomly placed across the exam and aren’t identified.
