At UMA, you’ll get pharmacy technician education for entry-level positions in the field and prepare for an exam called the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE) if you meet the criteria for eligibility. Pharmacists dispense prescription medicines and interact with customers of pharmacies and manage inventory, among other responsibilities. They are under the direction of a pharmacist who is accountable for reviewing all medications taken before they are given to customers.
