OMSCS admission rate: What date can applicants expect to hear from the Admissions Committee? In general, that is when applicants can expect to receive a decision within a few days. CoC’s MSCS provides a degree upon finishing a specific course (10 courses with 30-credit hours) and thesis or projects (each worth nine credit hours). This alternative is the only option available to OMSCS students since it is difficult to expand the other options. However, a few OMSCS students earned their degrees through one of these choices.
