master’s degree in computer science
Master’s degree in computer science: The Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) program is designed for those who have earned a master’s level in computing and wish to continue their education. The admission process is highly selective, with a minimal number of positions and many talented applicants each year. Only those with a bachelor’s degree with a computer science degree or an equivalent degree are likely to be considered for admission.
The department has two Master’s degree options on campus for those who wish to pursue an academic career: the MSCS with a thesis, the MSCS with an idea, and the MSCS without a thesis or report. Both are based on 30 hours of coursework. The option with no view/no account is defined as having more organized coursework instead of the thesis option that requires two thesis courses. Students accepted to the Master’s program don’t have to disclose which degree they will pursue. Students apply for the degree when they have completed all requirements required for the program they select.
Students who want to pursue an advanced masters degree The department offers its Master of Science in Computer Science online. The program online is intended for professionals in the workplace and those who plan to pursue an industry career which holds a bachelor’s degree or higher from a computer science field or in a related technical field and wish to expand their understanding. Students who are seeking a professional degree are strongly encouraged to apply for the online program. It has more capability than the traditional on-campus program.
