Brian Acosta Arya thought that the Lincoln Tunnel Motel would be a temporary job when he first began working there.
The family-owned the North Bergen motel, N.J. After immigrating from India, Arya’s father opened the motel.
This was a decade ago. Arya didn’t know he would make a living from his father’s business. Arya could not have predicted that the motel and its kindhearted, humble ethos would become viral.
The Lincoln Tunnel Motel is not the only thing that makes it unique. This is why Arya has so many supporters and why he’s been highlighted in news outlets such as PBS.
Arya has a reputation for helping those in need. He’s been able to extend stays, offer discounts, let customers in without I.D., or give out rooms free of charge. The Know told Arya that this mentality started many years ago when his father was in order.
