I’d like to begin this blog post with a note we have taken Grand Circle river cruises and loved them immensely. I have come to the notice, however, that both G.C.T., as well as O.A.T., have very bad business practices and even less customer service abilities. (Grand Circle Travel, the company that owns Overseas Adventure Travel. Both companies are governed by the same rules and regulations.) The following is the account that has soured my opinion of GCT/OAT.
As I’ve mentioned before, My husband and I went to G.C.T. (the owner of Overseas Adventure Travel – O.A.T.) European river cruises and thoroughly enjoyed them. The excursions they provide (if you get to take these trips! ) are excellent. It’s a shame that their customer service is not quite as great. This is why I’ll never go on another GCT/OAT vacation again. If something similar occurred to my sister, it could be in the same situation, and it could happen to you as well!
