Transfer applicants who are eligible for transfer must be a recent high school graduate prior to the application period for their. For instance, a student who is applying for fall term has to be a high school student prior to January 15 in order to be eligible for transfer.
Transfer applicants are college-bound student who has completed at least 30 (30) quarter or forty five (45) quarter-credit hours. It also includes those who earned college credits via examination or dual enrollment (AP and IB).
Transfer applicants must fulfill the requirements of their major of choice by the deadline for course requirements. Students applying to Dual Degree Engineering or Regents Engineering Pathway Programs will require an entirely separate and distinct required course chart.
A transcript must be provided from all universities or colleges (domestic or international). Anyone who is enrolled at an institution located outside of within the U.S. must submit a foreign credit assessment along with the official transcript of their college. Georgia Tech is unable to exempt or waive any prior college credits or enrollment.
