Georgia tech masters in analytics: Computational methods required to analyze data; programming and accessing multidimensional arrays, fundamental computational techniques, and visualization with hands-on exercises and case research. Credit is not awarded to students who have completed both CSE 6040 and CX 4240.
This course provides a fundamental introduction to the wide range of analytical models and techniques that include the basic concepts of the models, experiences working with software to analyze the problems, and examples of combining models to create a comprehensive solution. The covered techniques include clustering, classification changes detection and time series modeling regression models, the design of research, distributions of probabilities simulations based on probability, PCA, and optimization. The cross-cutting subjects like the preparation of data, model validation, and selecting variables are also covered.
