Dad and newborn: My favorite father-baby pose the newborn is Dad placing Baby in his chest, and Baby snuggled in his. This is my favorite pose for dad and Baby because it demonstrates how small Baby really is. And this is the one time that your sweet child will be able to fit comfortably in the hand of. Baby is only one or two hours old by the time you arrive at the studio. They’re young and brand new, and you’re in love with this adorable newborn Baby! The first part of your newborn session begins just at the beginning.

To accomplish this posture, it’s easy. Wrap baby in any design you like. You can also wrap Baby in a naked pose, but I prefer the appearance of baby wrapping, so I do not allow naked newborn poses during this point in the family segment. This allows us to keep Baby’s diaper in place ha and create less mess to clean up after the time.

I use the wooden walls within my workspace. It has the light set at 45 degrees to the left of Dad. I’ll make Dad put his hands upon his stomach button. I gently place Baby’s hands in. I will always inform Dad that “I am not going to take my hands off, baby, but I will tell you where to place your second hand.” When I want to ensure Baby’s safety, I advise Dad that he should place his hand across Baby’s chest and use his thumb to help support Baby’s head. As you know that a baby’s birth takes place within the beginning of 14 days, which means that the Baby can’t yet stand up with its head. No worries! The best safety practices are in place to ensure that your child is safe.

The pose is easy, secure, safe to master, and it feels timeless. It is also simple to explain to parents, and they can easily understand. I enjoy taking some photos of Dad smiling and looking towards the camera and then the father looking down at his adorable Baby and, of course, images of him lying on his chest with the Baby as the main focus.
