All american season 3: The season 3 of All Americans on Netflix, viewers watching the TV show have been caught up with Spencer, Coop, and all the other teens from The CW’s football show. As the show came to a conclusion this season, viewers faced a variety of concerns, including the possibility that one character was still alive ( click if you want to). In the fourth episode, the viewers were entertained as Darnell Hayes made an unplanned departure. The world is left asking: Why did Darnell quit? And when will he come back?

For a recap, we encounter Darnell during season 2 as an athlete who plays at South Crenshaw High School. He’s revealed as Spencer’s half-brother and an heir to the previous relationship between their fathers. Darnell and Spencer are in conflict throughout season 2, but they are able to find a way to work together after the death of their father.

As he grieves the loss of his father, Darnell almost leaves for Germany to be alongside his mom. However, he decides to remain. In the third season, Darnell and Spencer are set to play together in football. Darnell is fighting to be the first quarterback on Spencer’s South Crenshaw team. After four games in the regular season, Darnell is forced to quit after his mother gets injured while in the military.

Darnell’s departure from All American was because of actor Da’Vinchi’s professional life. Darnell recently landed an upcoming part in the Starz’supcoming program Black Mafia Family. Based on ScreenRant, the show was filming simultaneously during season 3 of All American, so the actor had to leave the series. He’s also scheduled to appear in the coming Broadway production.
